Twitter is the new in-thing. With more than 70 million users and the numbers mounting minute by minute you can imagine the kind of promotion that your business can get. Twitter is a micro blogging and social networking site that allows users to send and receive short messages called tweets.

Start by registering yourself and your business on Twitter. Tell people about your business. Ask them to check it out once. Ask them to follow you and provide them links to your other areas of work. Post photos of the work you do. Keep them constantly interested and try to get their followers to follow you too.

Try out different things. Be a little eccentric. For example, if you have a hot dog store announce a special offer to the first fifty respondents or so. That might excite a few people to try out your hot dogs at the least.

Last of all, encourage your co-workers and colleagues to tweet too. There’s nothing like a little humanizing a business simultanously PPC,SEO. A business with a face always connects better.
